About the Artist

The nail artist behind @basecoatstories is Jasmin: A creative mind with a taste for flea markets, plants and good design. After teaching herself how to use her nails as canvasses, she’s become addicted to the endless possibilities for self-expression in nail art.
This look was born from my love for retro designs. My vision is for people to wear this look on cold fall days when they warm up in a hidden café, reading the book they’ve picked up from the old library and looking forward to listening to that 70s record they found at the flea market. I was inspired by classic vintage wallpaper but wanted to give it a modern twist with autumnal sage green hues.
